Fabian Wolf is an artist from Hamburg, Germany. His artworks show a dark and morbid meta level where death, transiency and remote spheres come together as one. He creates a unique universe inspired by the daily routine of the ordinary men, religion and current events of our time. He works with different materials and techniques, mostly ink and spray paint, but never limits himself. In an eerie and uncanny way he shows the abyss of man without getting lost in it by himself.
As a gallery we have been working with Fabian since 2007 when he was still part of the Kingdrips collective. There was a longer gap but in recent years we have started to show his dark and eerie but always ‚loosely‘ beautiful drawings in several group shows again. Now it seemed only logical to also offer him space in the gallery for his Tattoo work.
Melvin and Fabian are currently also working on a group exhibition opening November 14, where you can get your tattoo right there on the spot during the Vernissage. The show is titled „Hurry up. It’s time.“
